A Gold Check report will tell you if the car has outstanding finance or if it’s clear of finance. If there is outstanding finance it will provide details of the agreement type, start and end date and number, as well as the finance provider and finance provider’s contact details.
Don’t buy the vehicle until the finance has been settled in full. You should not go through with the purchase until a second Gold Check report confirms the vehicle is clear of finance. If there is no prospect of this happening then look for another car.
